Mr. Ichimatsu Sanokawa was a Kabuki actor in the Edo period. He liked to wear this pattern in his stage costumes, and it became a very popular pattern worldwide. The pattern continues up, down, to the left, and the right.
This is the smallest size of the Ichimatsu pattern. Smaller than No.20 and No.21
