やっと動き出せるようになった新しい織り機で新作を作り始めました。
この織り機のために動いてくれた方々と今日までに費やされた時間を思うと、喜びもひとしおです。大事に使っていきたいと思います。どうか順調に動いてちょうだい！

養生のために作業で汚くなりやすいところに、たまたま持っていたマスキングテープを貼ってみたら、意外にかわいくなりました。
今回の作品は東浜オリジナル模様。額入りサイズの物を作る予定です。

After a month of false starts, my new loom is finally good to go for making Ako dantsu rugs. Because the intermediary who introduced me to the craftsman was so thoughtful and helpful, I intend to use the loom with respect and care. so my dearest new loom, please, pleeeeease move smoothly!

I tried to cover the spots where it is easy to get diry with a masking tape. it was just for care, but it looks accidentally neat.

So the next new rug is a brand new original design. I’m planning to make a small size with a frame.
